The holidays are over and now it is back to school again. Hope you had a restful time. For this week's journal writing, I would like you to reflect on a coming global event : Earth Hour. Today I am going to talk to you about Earth hour. Earth hour is a hour during which all electrical(especially lights) appliances will be turned off.Earth hour will be held this Saturday on the 28th of March at 8.30p.m.
It will be held till 9.30p.m.This year in Singapore it will be held on the 28th of March.I think people are organising this event so as to action against global warming.In my opinion this is very important because if global warming is not controlled soon there will be chaos in the whole world.During earth hour people will close their lights. Some people will close other electrical appliances such as the computer, television (e.t.c).
We can also organise other activities with our family and friends during earth hour such as playing outdoor activies-badminton,soccer,basketball(e.t.c)
Now I will talk you about other problems Mother Earth is facing.Mother Earth is facing many other disasters such as flood and hurricane because of which Mother Earth is facing a dim future.We must come together and solve this problem as well as global warming.One thing we can do is to replace the use of TVs and computers by outdoor activities.
Taking action against global warming is very important or else Mother Earth will be destroyed.So everyone try to participate in every activity possible that is held to control global warming.
