Racial Harmony Day is a very important festival.This festival binds all the races together.For example in Singapore, Racial Harmony Day binds the four races-Indian,Chinese,Malay and Eurasian.One of the reasons we celebrate Racial Harmony is because in the past there used to be misunderstanding between the races and there never used to be unity.
The misunderstandings were most likely caused because there was a difference in religion and they would always fight to see who was stronger and this is why we celebrate Racial Harmony to stop the fight and riots.
We can do many things to show that we have unity.Some ways to help are giving away your seat to the elderly or help someone when he or she has fallen down(e.t.c).So this is the way you can have unity.
